HUDSON,\nFla. – The Hudson library says it is temporarily closed due to a bed\nbug infestation. The library located at 8012 Library Road is expected to be\nclosed for 1-2 weeks for fumigation treatment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the library,\nstaff discovered the bugs in an isolated area of the building two weeks ago.\nThe county used a pest control contractor to begin isolated treatments, but the\ntreatments were not successful, so it decided to close the building a do a full\nfumigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health officials say bed\nbugs are not dangerous, but their bites can cause discomfort or an allergic\nreaction in some people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MILPITAS,\nCA — The library will remain closed for at least another day upon receiving a\nreport last week from a patron about possible bed bugs in the Santa Clara County\nfacility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nlibrary told its Facebook readers it ordered an inspection and received\ninformation that “localized activity” was detected. This means bed\nbugs were discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
